ABOUT
YOUR HATTER:
C.J. Landers
I started my love of hat-making in my early teens. Being an avid cowboy action shooter (Maverick SASS #92789) I set out to have a custom hat made that fit my personality, only to learn that at 14 years old, I didn't quite have $600 to spend on a custom hat, but I had $300 and a summer job.
With that first summer job paycheck, I purchased a steamer and some vintage hats and began to teach myself, and ended up spending triple the money in the long-run, but it was well worth it. That paved the way for a career field that I never could've imagined was possible. From a little one-man restoration shop, to heading west and crafting hats for major motion pictures, TV, and famous horsemen and exhibitors all over the U.S.
Now over a decade later, well-versed with experience, and lots of traveling, My business aims to create hats for everyone, from fashion to practicality, reenactors to different disciplines, everything from the arena to the open range...
